Writing: Summerworld:
Milestone Day

| | Comments (0)

As of today, Summerworld is complete!  The draft has been edited all the way through twice by yours truly.  I am happy to say that it is everything that I hoped it would be, and then some.

So what's next?  Well, a few things:

    1. I've got to do some formatting cleanup and typsetting work, since the manuscript is essentially going directly from my computer to the printer's with no intervening steps.  This should not take more than a couple of days, though.
    2. A copy of the manuscript will be going to selected private readers for their feedback.  I suspect any changes that I make based on their responses will be fairly minor — more mechanical than thematic.
    3. Final preparation of the cover art based on the page count once that's locked.
    4. I'll run off a copy of the opening chapters to be made available as a free download from this very site.

I'll have more news for you shortly!  Stick around — the excitement has barely started!
